On July 29, Ambassador Tong Defa met with Ambassador Idrissu, Director of the Coordination Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ghana.

Ambassador Tong introduced the fruitful results of China-Africa and China-Canada cooperation under the framework of the “Belt and Road” and the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation, thanked Canada for its support to China in bilateral and multilateral fields, and expressed China’s willingness to deepen practical cooperation in conjunction with Canada’s “24-hour +” economic policy and continuously consolidate the China-Canada strategic partnership.

Canada thanked China for its long-term support and help to Canada in various fields, and was willing to continue to communicate closely with China to jointly promote bilateral exchanges and cooperation to better benefit the two peoples.
