Courtesy Visit From A Delegation From The Accra Metropolitan Assembly

H.E. Kojo Bonsu, Ambassador of Ghana to The People’s Republic of China, on the 6th of November, received a delegation from the Accra Metropolitan Assembly on a courtesy visit at the Ghana Embassy in China.

The delegation had visited a Sister-City of Accra, named Shenyang city, in the Lioaning province, to share best practices in the management of the two Sister-Cities respectfully. In their submission to His Excellency, the Ambassador, they affirmed their experiences gained and assured of their determination to make a difference upon their return to the Assembly in Accra.

Ambassador Bonsu appreciated the delegation’s thoughtful gesture of calling upon him and the Mission as part of their tour, introduced them to the Head of Chancery and Embassy staff present. He permitted an open forum, allowing the delegates to share their observations and experiences about China. The Ambassador reiterated the Embassy’s commitment to supporting them in their endeavours and charged them to update the Mission in writing, of all that would be required to ensure the achievement of the objectives of their visit.

As a token of appreciation, Ambassador Bonsu presented to each delegate a gift, symbolising the Embassy’s gratitude for their courtesy call on him.

The contingent expressed gratitude to the Ambassador and his Staff for the warm hospitality and support extended to them during their duty tour in China.
