On 30th September, 2025, His Excellency Hong Lei, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs and

Director of Protocol of the People’s Republic of China, granted audience to His Excellency Kojo

Bonsu, Ambassador-designate of the Republic Ghana to China, during which he received his Open

Letters (copies of credentials).

At a brief discussion held prior to the presentation of the Open Letters, they reaffirmed

commitment on behalf of their governments, to work together to further strengthen the fraternal

relations that have existed between the People’s Republic of China and the Republic of Ghana for

the past 65 years.
